The Vancouver residences are near the Nanaimo which serves as the main campus of the university. In the university residential vicinity, there is a huge swimming pool and beautiful water slides.

The university housing as a village is known to be offering mainly three types of housing. These are as follows;
- The traditional housing structure; the rooms allocated are single and the bathrooms are semi-private
- The residence premises; this is a 20 bed premise having single rooms and a semi-private bathrooms
- Lastly is the apartment style house; it has houses ranging from a two to a four bed roomed houses
The Vancouver University houses are known to be well furnished. For instance the kitchens and the lounge in the traditional type of housing are shared. Its worth noting that amenities like electricity, wireless networks and hot water are all included in the house rent paid. The houses are specially designed to cater for the basic requirements of the disabled. Besides, the houses have laundries and lounges that are jointly shared by the student fraternity. The residence is commonly referred to as the village, has indoor recreational facilities ranging from picnic sites, walking areas, basket and volleyball courts as well.
When one is in need of accommodation, the process is concurrently done during the initial application for admission for college admission. The houses are limited and to have the houses fairly allocated, the houses are given out on first come first served basis. This is only applicable to the rest except the four bed roomed apartments. Thus it is advisable to apply for accommodation stating the kind of housing that best suits you early to secure a place in the college.
The Vancouver University also offers a safe parking environment for students. Parking can only be availed to the applicant via the parking office which is situated in building 315.
